You've probably already experienced hypnosis

Acupuncture is my first love; I hope I have made that abundantly clear.  However, amidst shutdowns and the threat of more to come if our numbers don't change, acupuncture becomes challenging to provide in a global pandemic.  Unfortunately, acupuncture does not translate to Zoom.

This is where Hypnosomatic Acupuncture (hypnosis combined with acupuncture) comes in.

When the National Guild of Hypnotists decided to change to an online training program, I jumped on the chance.  The fact that one of my favorite people was teaching this particular class was the added bonus.  For ten weeks, I learned a new skill that I can easily do in the office or online.  I have no idea what the rest of 2020 has in store and who knows how far into 2021 this will extend, so being able to pivot and adapt has been my goal.  I am so excited to offer this new modality.

Have you ever gotten lost in a really good book?
Or found yourself daydreaming?
Or blank out during a long drive?
Congratulations!  You have experienced hypnosis.

Facts:

-       All hypnosis is self-hypnosis

-       It is completely safe

-       It is not mind-control

-       You will not cluck like a chicken

-       You are 100% in control

-       It is a state of deep relaxation

Hypnotherapy uses hypnosis to offer you positive suggestions on the subconscious level to enable you to fulfill your goals and aspirations.  When we change the way we think, we can change our limiting beliefs, our behaviors, and our general well-being.

Hypnosomatic acupuncture, practiced at Kismet, takes hypnotherapy and combines it with a gentle, calming acupuncture treatment for an extra level of relaxation.

What do we use this combination for?  Weight control, smoking cessation, anxiety, depression, nerves, confidence, pain control, stress, panic attacks, insomnia, and so much more!

Who can’t be hypnotized:

-       Someone with a severe learning disability

-       Someone who is intoxicated

-       Someone with severe dementia

-       Someone that does not want to be hypnotized

All you have to do is sit back and relax!

Obviously, hypnosis is not actually like what you see on television and in movies. You will be able to book these appointments starting November 15th. Also, be on the look-out for more yoga + hypnosis workshops. The first one was a success, and we cannot wait to do more. My other goal is to do monthly, only Hypno workshops for stress and anxiety. Keep following along on Instagram, and you'll be the first to know.
